Sculpture Tours

Guided Sculpture Tours are one of our favorite ways to share the experience of The Land With No Name Sanctuary. We host monthly scheduled tours and are also ready to work with your specific needs to create a customized tour for your group of coworkers, family, or friends!

All sculpture tours are led by Ted and Kate, who will take your group on a half-mile hike in high desert grassland on semi-improved trails. Stories are shared of the 50+ sculptures and their makers while on the trail.

We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes, long pants to protect from occasional cactus thorns, and brimmed hats for sun shade. Any high fashion choices are always appreciated :)

The Land is located off the grid, 35 miles southwest of Tucson at 4500 feet in elevation. Because of the remote location, unmarked roads, and lack of GPS service, we will lead you out caravan-style.

Private Tours

If the scheduled dates don't work for your group, you can also book a private tour with a group of friends, family, coworkers, anyone! Private tours cost $500 to book for the 4 hour experience, and we can accommodate a maximum of 12 people per tour. When booking your own tour you can choose to bring your own food and beverages of choice for a picnic lunch, or you can choose add-ons such as combining your sculpture tour with a sunset BBQ and a tour of the straw-bale construction Studio House! You can also include guest speakers to expand your experience; a botanist will share their knowledge of native plants on the trail, or a guest artist from the Tohono O’odham Nation will join in dialogue about arts and life on the Nation, and the history of their ancient relationship with this land.
